Peter Brooks

Peter has spent the majority of his career as an entrepreneur, a forty-year period during which he founded, acquired or restructured companies in a variety of businesses including sophisticated medical research, home services, asset management and innovative sports equipment.

Most recently, he has taught at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the School of Education and Human Development, and as Adjunct Professor of Business and Technology at Piedmont Virginia Community College, also in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Prior to beginning his entrepreneurial career, Peter was a consultant with McKinsey & Company focusing primarily on corporate strategy and organizational realignment assignments.

Peter holds M.B.A. and M.A. (Administration and Policy Analysis) degrees from Stanford University and a B.A. degree from Harvard College. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife, Nancy, and their yellow labrador retriever, Webster. Nancy and Peter have two daughters: Sarah and Molly.
