Gerry Starsia

Gerry is a former Founder/CEO and Professor, and is currently an Advisor and author of two books, Plan to Pivot: Managing in an Age of Organizational Complexity, and Survival to Success: Leading Small, High-Growth Enterprises.

He combines a two-decade career in the corporate sector followed by a pivot to higher education executive administration with in-depth strategic and operational experience.

He has numerous accolades for teaching, writing books and articles, and advising. In 2017, the Seven Society at the University of Virgina said: “Starsia is a model of balance between teaching, research and administrative leadership” and an executive advisee added “Gerry’s expertise in strategy and adaptability consistently keeps our executive team focused and successful”.

In addition to writing, Gerry is currently advising 2 executive teams, an Investor/Advisor in a high-growth firm, and a Keynote Speaker on Leadership and Strategy in the corporate and higher education sectors.
